Make Your Account Plans Packages
The first thing you need when working with the WHM and before you can add an account, is to set your packages for the accounts you will make available. The amount of space and bandwidth you will make available, the number of FTP accounts, E-Mail accounts, Databases available in each plan along with other details.
How to Install a New Account
In your hosting account control panel, the WHM, you create all new accounts. Fill in the client’s information and with a click they are set up with their own cPanel which allows them to administer their website. After logging into their cPanel they may create subdomains, email addresses, change passwords and handle a host of site chores without any support from you or us.
How to Add Packages
Packages enable you to create your own custom quotas for the accounts created in your WHM. WHM allows you to customize a large number of parameters, from disk space and bandwidth to the number of sub-domains and MySQL databases, as well as specifying whether CGI, shell access, and what cPanel default theme are provided.
To add a package:

Click on the Add Packages link in the Packages menu in WHM.

Enter the name of the package and the maximum disk space the account can occupy in the Package Name and Quota fields.
Enter the maximum number of items allowed in the Max Ftp Accounts, Max Email Accounts, Max Email Lists, Max SQL Databases, Max Sub Domains, Max Park Domains, and Max Addon Domains fields.
Note: Enter the text unlimited if you do not want to place a limit on any particular item.
Indicate whether CGI access is allowed and whether FrontPage Extensions are enabled by default in the CGI Access and FrontPage Extentions tick boxes.
Enter the maximum bandwidth in megabytes allowed by the account in the Bandwidth Limit field.
Choose the default CPanel theme for the account in the Cpanel Theme field.
Choose the default feature list for the account in the Feature List field.
Click on the Create button.

Creating New Accounts
WHM enables you to quickly add new accounts. You simply fill in the fields to specify the account details. Use packages that you created in the previous step to automatically fill in many of the fields automatically.
To create a new account:

Click on the Create a New Account link in the Account Functions menu.

Note: If you want to use a predefined package for this account, click on the package name in the Package drop-down list. This will fill in many of the fields automatically.
Enter the domain name and username of the account in the Domain and UserName fields. The UserName field will automatically populate with the first 8 characters of the domain name, but you can change this to whatever you want.
Note: cPanel/WHM does not support usernames that start with numbers. Do not create accounts that start with numbers as you will not be able to use some functions on these accounts.
Enter the password and disk space quota for the account in the Password and Quota fields.
Indicate whether CGI access, FrontPage Extensions are allowed in the CGI Access and FrontPage Extentions tick boxes.
Enter the maximum number of items allowed in the Max Ftp Accounts, Max Email Accounts, Max Email Lists, Max SQL Databases, Max Sub Domains, Max Park Domains, and Max Addon Domains fields.

Login to cPanel
CPanel is a fully featured web-based control panel that allows you to manage your domain through a web interface. You have the ability to manage all aspects of e-mail, files, backup, FTP, CGI scripts, and web site statistics.
To Login to cPanel:
Enter the address of your cPanel in your web browser. The address needs to be in the form of http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel or https://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel.
Enter your user name and password in the User Name and Password fields.
Click on OK button. You will now be logged in to CPanel.
Note: Your domain must be propagated to our servers before you are able to login to cPanel. If your domain has not propagated you can login to cPanel using the IP Address as noted in your welcome email.
Creating Private Nameservers
You must create your private nameservers at your domain registrar before you are able to use your private nameservers for your domain. Creating nameservers is a fairly simple task depending on who your domain registrar.
Note: If you do not have custom nameservers with your account you can disregard this step. Additionally, you can use the default server nameservers as indicated in your welcome email if you do not wish to use your own nameservers.
Changing DNS
Changing the nameservers for your domain is a fairly easy process. Most domain registrars have a control panel you can login to change the nameservers for your domain. You must change the nameservers to point to our servers and wait 24-72 hours for it to propogate around the world.
